Bicycling appeals to many people for different reasons – health and exercise, recreation and fun, sports and competition, cleaner transportation mode, cheap transportation mode! Whatever the reasons you choose to ride a bicycle, it contributes to the cleanest air quality mode of transportation available, and we support it! For everyone who rides their bike to the event vs. driving, we Thank you sincerely for helping to reduce the traffic and congestion caused by the event. The Many Spokes for Many Folks area, aka, MS4MF, houses most of our special bike programs, plus numerous organizations, upcoming bike events and special bike features available in our area.
Safe Routes to the Event – You can join a group ride in the morning to ride safely all the way to the event. You can ride your bike or car to the starting point, with parking well outside the congestion of the event. You can hop on the path any time during the day to ride on your own. Each route also passes through other checkpoints like parks and schools, with additional parking available, if you don’t want to ride as far.
Bike Valet – The Reno Bike Project offers a free bike valet – special safe parking for your bicycle while you enjoy the event.

Special for 2017! Anyone who rides a bicycle to the event can show their bike to the Many Spokes booth and get a prize ticket. Turn your tickets into the Prize Gallery to choose a prize from 100’s donated by the community, artisans, businesses, friends.
